myCPD collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

Your name and email address when your account is created; your listening, quiz and CPD activity; and technical information such as browser type and IP address needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the service, keep a record of your CPD activity, send account emails such as verification and password resets, and improve myCPD. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host and operate myCPD (including Cloudflare) and that deliver our email. They process information only on our behalf. Data may be stored outside New Zealand.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to evidence your CPD history.

Your rights

You may ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account. Contact hello@mycpd.co.nz.
